taraboss Silhouettes only draw up in the closed position. There are other brands out there that you can roll "backwards" about 1/3 up your window. An example would be Comfortex's Shangri-La's.

Waters Edge Blinds and Window Treatments These look like 2 inch faux wood or wood horizontal blinds. The headrail and end brackets looks exposed on the horizontal blinds. Make sure to cover the headrail with a valance! Usually they come with the blinds, but we also offer them separately.

Store-bought curtain rods are great, but the fantastic thing about bamboo is that it's easy to think outside the box. An old fishing pole or a freshly cut piece from the backyard can be fashioned into a beautiful rod. If you're using a fresh piece, make sure to dry it first so it's durable enough to hold the weight of your curtains.
