Venegas and Company Thanks for your inquiry! The ceiling was unfortunately not in our scope of work and we do not know the exact finish color, but it was definitely a semi-gloss finish.
feeneyjen Thank you...everyone is telling me I am crazy painting a ceiling in a semi-gloss but that's what I think it should be only because of the beadboard. Apreciate the response!
Built in microwave - Could you please tell me what band the microwave is? Does it have a trim kit or is the cabinet built to fit the existing microwave? Thank you! »
Venegas and Company Thank you for your inquiry! This is a Kitchenaid microwave with a 24” trim kit and we designed this cabinet for both to fit accordingly. Unfortunately this exact model is outdated, but there are new Kitchenaid models that can take a 27" or 30" trim kit. Good luck with your project!
Venegas and Company The center section is 21" deep and bumps back slightly to 18" deep left and right. My first reaction is 12" seems a bit shallow for a desk. The bigger question is, what is the desk being used for? Will it have a laptop on it? Will it be used for writing? You need to think about how the space will be used and make sure you accommodate accordingly. Good luck!
Venegas and Company Thank you for your inquiry, but the flooring was sourced by the interior designer. We suggest going to your local flooring showroom and they can point you in the right direction. We believe the floor is oak, but unsure of the exact finish. Good luck!
Foley Fiore Architecture We are the Architects for the project and specified the flooring. It is random width, select grade Walnut from Carlisle Flooring.
Venegas and Company Thank you for your inquiry! The cabinets are an antique white with a brown glaze directly from our cabinet maker. Your cabinet maker should be have no problem giving you options of finish that are similar. Good luck!
A kitchen desk in front of a window can be a light-filled spot to look up recipes, check email and do homework. If you can carve out enough storage elsewhere in the kitchen, resist the temptation to delete a window for a wall cabinet. I love the furniture details on the columns and cabinetry.
