Cynthia Taylor-Luce Just curious. These must have been part of the plan of the building of the house? I can't imagine adding these bricks as a new floor to an existing house seeing as the thickness is so great. I've only ever seen real brick flooring in very old historic homes, but I'm intrigued by the idea.
