Platform Bed with Storage
The perfect combination of style and function the Platform Bed with Storage features extra deep storage drawers with a slat support system that requires only a mattress. Solid wood slats positioned lengthwise distribute body weight evenly to minimize the amount of motion transfer and take the place of a box spring. Metal braces under the slats provide additional stability. The twin size option features three extra-deep under-bed storage drawers. The full queen and king size options offer six drawers three on each side. The drawers run smoothly on metal glides and knobs have been eliminated by using finger pulls located at the bottom of the drawer fronts. Finger pulls create flush drawer facings that prevent bedding from catching. At 19 inches deep these drawers are large enough to store linens blankets clothes and more. They have been manufacturing state-of-the-art home furnishings and storage products in the heart of the forest-rich West Coast since 1979. To ensure that customers receive the highest quality products Prepac's design engineering production testing and packaging are all performed in-house. Each component of every product is carefully engineered to be produced with minimal handling without compromising quality function and value. Most of Prepac's RTA products are made from a combination of "engineered woods." Engineered Wood is a mixture of high quality hard and soft wood materials which generally come from the surplus of original lumber processing. These materials are bonded together with a synthetic resin in a process under high heat and pressure to make a very stable environmentally friendly product. The result is dense strong panels which are then laminated with durable attractive finishes.
