Nicholas Moriarty Interiors These blinds do have cords (hidden by the drapes). To my knowledge there isn't a manufacturer who makes tdbu shades w/out cords...especially when you get tall windows like this it would be very impractical. Have fun with your project!
Nicholas Moriarty Interiors The bed is from Crate & Barrel. It's from a few years back so I'm not 100% sure that it's still a current item for them...best of luck!
Nicholas Moriarty Interiors All of the bedding shown is from Design Within Reach. It was purchased a while ago so I'm not too sure that it's still available but DWR always has some sort of simple bedding like this. Glad you like it!
Nicholas Moriarty Interiors This space is part of a much larger room. The width of the area where this bed resides is only about 10'6" wide (that's a king size bed). It's cozy and works well for these clients b/c it was more important for them to have a "full" sitting area (in the adjacent space) in their master suite than "extra" space around their bed.
4. Use top-down blinds for privacy. This cleverly designed bedroom uses top-down/bottom-up blinds for ease of use. This is the size of the bedroom in my former rental apartment. Repeating the window valance and blind provides a consistent look.
Contemporary. Treating the bank of windows behind the bed as a single window creates drama in this contemporary bedroom. Covering all three windows with one blind allows the covering to act more like furniture than a window treatment. Style tip: The shade's ability to be raised from the bottom disguises the fact that the bed is in front of the window. A normal wooden shade would allow the bed to be visible from outside — something most interior designers try to avoid.
