Looks a lot like BM cinder

Looks to me like BM Affinity line, called "Matte" (not the finish ... but the actual name color.) Very "complex"color ... eyes love to see those ... that is why it is so wonderful! Love the affinity line for that! And I LOVE THAT FRONT DOOR!!!!!!!!!

by the way ... hate photos ... they never make KNOWING a color by looking at them as each and every screen "sees"/shows it differently ... so with that in mind ... I add that the color could be "Kasbah" AF-640 ... I see a red base in the color and not green. Wish the designers/architects share the info!

It appears to be custom due to the top glass lites design and bottom v-groove panels plus it has a mail slot added below. Nice different door design!

I think its oak because of the grain pattern. Heres a example of oak what do you think?

Maybe red oak.
I was first thinking walnut but walnut doesnt have nearly as much grain pattern as the picture above.

it looks beautiful as is. maybe an entry rug would help, but otherwise, i would let the area speak for itself. clean open space is wonderful.

Although it's more of a challenge to decorate a foyer when you don't have the luxury of ample wall space, you certainly can create an inviting and attractive space. Use the above photo as inspiration. Much of the decorative interest comes from the contrast of the white wood trim and the rich wall color. With a space that has a lot of doors, that is a no brainer.

-Add crown molding or baseboards and trim around the frames of the doors.
-Paint will go far with this space. I think you should be bold for guests just entering your home. Since a foyer is usually pretty small, you don't have to worry about the color overpowering.
-Hang a unique and decorative pendant. Treat your light fixture like the art that you won't be able to cover your walls with.
-You can go with a rug, or ,depending on how much you like your floors, leave it bare.

Remember, dress your house like you would dress yourself. Don't get carried away with accessories because you can't hang decor on your walls. Simplicity always wins.

You could tile the risers of your stairs

Agreed. An area rug would add some design elements and give nice contrast to that beautiful floor. (not to mention clean the feet a bit before folks enter)

5x7 would be a good size to explore. Be sure to shop for a finer weave too so you don't encounter any door-clearance issues

The rug looks great. We actually took out a rug for the photo shoot, but very cool to see what other folks are suggesting.

Yes... Top of the stairs is a door and window that has a view of treetops. And there is a light fixture not shown in photo at top of the stairs.

Dior Gray 2133-40 by Benjamin Moore looks similar.

Bunglehouse Gray by Sherwin Williams is another similar color if you don't find out this exact one

This depends on your skill level, how many people you have assisting you, and your tools.

If you are a novice, I would estimate a few hours per room with a roller brush and paint brushes with only 1 person. The more people you have, the faster it will go. Also, if you have powered paint guns, etc.. the job will go faster.

If you are painting over existing paint that is darker to a lighter color, allow one day to paint on primer and let dry if need be.
