Emily Hurley My gut tells me that I would want probably a 10 ft ceiling to attempt this. I bet you could probably do a lower ceiling if you scale back the depth on the boxes though.

Do you think there will be room for a small sectional. Maybe the TV can be somewhat larger, wall mounted, but easily pulled out and tilted to be seen from anywhere in the kitchen. This would give allison and her friends another tv option on this level?
