Autumn Path - Hand Designed Silk Art, Silk Embroidery

Silk embroidery art was invented in China over 2,500 years ago. This high quality silk art is created using embroidery techniques developed from the world famous Suzhou style of silk embroidery. Each piece contains over 100,000 stitches on average.

A sunset lit autumn path is depicted in vivid hues of oranges, reds and yellows in this scenic image of an autumn day. Thousands of stitches are used in an impressionist manner to beautifully capture the feeling of sunset in the fall. This is part of the autumn set that includes three other pieces, "Yellow Maples", "Golden Avenue" and "Red Maples". All four embroideries complement one another and bring the essence of autumn along with its rich colors to any room.
