Silk embroidery art was invented in China over 2,500 years ago. This high quality silk art is created using embroidery techniques developed from the world famous Suzhou style of silk embroidery. Each piece contains over 100,000 stitches on average.

Confucius was a great thinker of ancient China and remains one of the world's most famous cultural figures. The philosophy of Confucius emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity, and was later developed into a system of philosophy known as Confucianism. He championed strong familial loyalty, ancestor worship, respect of elders by their children, and the family as a basis for an ideal government. He expressed the well-known principle, "Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself", an early version of the Golden Rule.
