2hyperkids I think the stools may be the Restoration Hardware Toledo distressed black stools. They are normally priced $295, but they are on special now for $249. http://www.restorationhardware.com/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod690093&categoryId=cat1580028
Ballard Designs has a similar style for $149 called the Allen stool.
