Hello Cary,
I do not think you are the correct person to ask this question, but is this house for sale?
If so, do you know who the realtor is? This house is exquisite!
Thank you,
Debbie Koehler

The entry level and a basement floor below are original to the house. The top floor is the addition.
Bernstein replaced the original cottage’s dark shingles with cedar in a light stain. Tall windows with skinny aluminum frames bring modern into the design — not to mention maximum light from this west-facing wall. The wide window on the upper right gives the master bathroom both light and privacy. The overall play of horizontals and verticals have a graphic dimension, right down to the zigzag of the stairs framed by the entry window.
1. Cottage grows up in San Francisco: Rustic cedar gets a fresh look from a light stain on this home's exterior. The owners built up instead of out to preserve the wooded garden and feeling of a private oasis. The result celebrates modern design while keeping some of the ad-hoc character they liked about the old place.
This beautiful home is designed to highlight various rectangular shapes. From simple squares to elongated rectangles, the walls and windows are fit into a perfect puzzle. The only problem? All those squares could read as too mathematical, too sterile. Trees that break into the lines of the home make all the difference.

This house has great connection from the inside of the home to the outside. The vines against those large windows really allow for you to feel the outdoors while sitting in the comfort of your home.

The house is not currently on the market. It is a beauty, though!
