CH Build Inc. Cary, I have the same question as rvenier. What stain did you use on the cedar? Did you use yellow or red cedar? Thanks.

Cary Bernstein Architect It's cedar. There's no manufacturer, just a lumber yard. Thank you for your interest in our work!

ID.ology Interior Design Was the cedar milled to create some sort of locking system between boards? How was it installed and/or sealed to avoid water intrusion? This is a really great look!

Remember that original white wood paneling inside? Its wabi-sabi beauty inspired Bernstein to combine three board sizes to create this pattern on the exterior walls. Frosted glass panels in the trellis over the door let in light and keep out the San Francisco drizzle.
