I like the island being a different color than the cabinets. Pondering the possibilities of having the island countertop being stainless steel or butcher block.

I love everything about this space! the contrast between the light and the dark, the materials, and the layout!

This Camano Island home by Warmington & North has a lovely kitchen. The rustic elements are not my favorite but the size, layout an many of the features are exactly what I would like to have. For instance, while I do not like the roughly hewn, raw wood feel to the floor, I do like the color of the wood and the variation of board widths. The booth seating is just what I want and I like the dark color of the island contrasting with the white cabinets.
