szol what is meant by "honed"?

rnjanke Honed usually means smoothed but not shiny. I probably should have said tumbled, which is similar...it's like taking the raw stone and giving it a smooth finish.

Back entry coming into kitchen.Off the entry hallway could be laundry,the pantry I woul want much closer. Although the storage closet for good china and silver could be better served much closer to dining room.The closet would have to hav a dead bolt lock.It could be made to not not look like a closet a all like Ruth E. 's mothers silver storage area. I can get a picture of from Ruth E.'s brother who now lives in the house.
