As mentioned at the outset, the principle function of trusses is to hold up the roof by withstanding gravity. But by being a device that establishes a rhythm and scale in a space, trusses also have an important visual job to do. In fact, there are many instances when the trusses are used solely for their visual impact, with something else doing all of the structural work.

Favorite..but would change brown countertop..put big ole long table in here...want favorite bar that seats 7 from first pic...need big pantry too...doors to sunroom with covered deck that connects to bedroom and pool....living area to side with fireplace and with office and kids playroom...bathroom too..... I like the airiness and light emission in this Kitchen. The door placement and type of doors by the dining room table are desirable. I do like that there are two sinks in the kitchen but the main one has a large window you can gaze out of while doing that daunting task. The second sink isn't necessary in the island but would be a nice feature for the beverage station. The high ceilings with stylish beams add beauty but I don't think it's possible to attain this look in that house.
