Cyndi K. Carbonized bamboo is very dense, similar to teak, thus very sturdy. Like any hardwood, the finish will show scratches over time, like if one owned a large dog- their claws would mar the finish over time.
Floors are three years old in the photo.

Cyndi K. This is 15+ years old...Pottery Barn had a nearly identical one a couple of years ago in various finishes.

Cyndi K. This doorway is a bit larger than standard at 35"; each door is about 17.5".
