Warm Contemporary in Rancho Santa Fe

This warm contemporary/transitional kitchen was designed for a couple of empty nesters who lost their home to a fire in 2005. In the new design, they wanted a small eating area in the kitchen that would feel like a kitchen table but wouldn't take up too much room. This adorable petite table on the end of the island was the perfect solution. The kitchen features cherry cabinets, granite counters, two sinks, double ovens, and many other custom details. My favorites are the pull-out pantry and the Wolf cooktop.

Instead of a bar along one side, remove one set of cabinets and have the countertop extend for a mini bar/table
