E.S. Johnson Builders, LLC Good Question. The fireplace is a Twilight II from from Heat n Glo. We install it in many of our houses. The exterior glass is safety glass and is no different safety wise as the glass in the door in the rear of that picture. The removal of any glass for cleaning purpose or maintenance is from the interior.
