I really like these counter stools. Are they wood stained a warm reddish tone? Or are they another material? I'd love to know where to get something like these and I'd love to know what the seat looks like. Having the toughest time with counter stools! thanks »
Bar stools and counter stools are underneath the "kitchen" section if you want to browse more styles, you may want to look at the "contemporary" section as well:
Also, beware the difference between counter height and bar height - I learned that one the hard way after an impulse floor sample (non-returnable) buy which left about 3" between the seat and the counter! Most are available in both heights.
This designer has incorporated a "beverage center" into the kitchen, which includes the fixings for that coffee one may need the morning after a night of too much tasting.
Along with installing the high-end appliances, Rothblatt also designed a beverage center to meet the couple's entertaining needs. A bar sink, wine refrigerator, espresso machine and display shelving create the perfect area for guests to stop and have a glass of wine or an after-dinner coffee. Rothblatt designed the layout of the beverage center to work with the rest of the kitchen, sopeople could hang out in the kitchen but still maintain traffic flow on this main floor. This ultimate setup for a nice pot of coffee includes a coffeemaker, a sink and an under-counter fridge. The sink is easily accessible for filling and rinsing, while the fridge is handy for keeping cream. Coffee cups are stored stylishly on the countertop.
I think I like this layout the best.... one long cabinet on the side, balanced out with the wine cooler on the other side. Glass front cabinetry on top, traditional wood cabinets on bottom. I like this. (although the actual cabinets are probably more contemporary that what you want).
