Jim Burton Architects Hi - these are VG Fir wood windows, manufactured by Northwest Windows and Doors, who unfortunately are no longer in business.

What Houzz contributors are saying:
5. Use of local materials, including lots of wood from the region. "I'd say the honest use of wood is a strong component of the Seattle style. "Honest" meaning using it in a way that serves a function, along with being beautiful," says Burton. "Wood rain screen is one way to achieve this. Also, we use deep overhangs to protect the houses from our rainy winters."

Angled roof. Rain screen siding. Simple design - it's just a box but it looks great.

well designed, but i think concrete and metal is better for utah--we have less wood and harsher seasons. Use of local materials, including lots of wood from the region. "I'd say the honest use of wood is a strong component of the Seattle style. "Honest" meaning using it in a way that serves a function, along with being beautiful," says Burton.
