The color tiger-eye ranges from golden yellows and amber to honey browns. It creates a great neutral background for vibrant colors such as fuchsia and turquoise.
2. Carrot, Magenta and PlumThis palette sticks to the warm side of the color wheel and illustrates another strategy for working with bold colors: Have one of your predominant colors be less vibrant to act as a grounding color. This plum color has some black in it, which grays it out and turns it into a neutral backdrop for the intense orange and pink.

I LOVE orange and pink together! This is too bold a combo for our home in general, but I just love looking at it and will now see if I can work it into my laundry room which is my sewing sanctuary. That would be my color den!!
