Asian style interior design takes its cue from Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and other Eastern cultures. Asian design influences contemporary interiors with Zen spaces for relaxation, feng shui furniture arrangements, Asian-style bedding, lacquered boxes or silk Chinoiserie wallpaper. Needless to say, Asian home design varies greatly. A room could hint at an Eastern influence with a Buddha sculpture and prayer beads, or completely recreate the feel of a traditional Asian room.
