How practical is a rug like that in a kitchen. I suppose if the person doesn't cook much, it will be fine, but in a high traffic area where spills will happen? How do you clean the rug. Also--is a white-painted floor easy to keep clean. The kitchen is beautiful. Love it. Love the unique cabinets
tansu kitchen cabinets & geometric rug
This is the other side of the kitchen. The rest of the finishes were kept simple to let the beauty of the wood cabinets shine. These pieces were custom built to look like tansu. The horizontal bars on the end panel are a traditional detail.

What should I look for when buying kitchen rugs?
where can I buy these kitchen cabinets?!
a rug for the kitchen can be difficult. It is the room that probably takes the hardest beating in the house, but it also is a room where the most time is usually spent. Therefore, an attractive and extremely durable rug is required. Here are things to consider when buying a kitchen rug: -Make sure
it in the washing machine after someone spills a jar of tomato sauce on it. -Kitchen rugs serve a necessary purpose of keeping the floor dry and protected, but they also serve a design purpose. They can tie the whole kitchen together. Do you want intricate patterns? Do you want a simple rug? Do you
outfit the whole kitchen in tansu? Here, a two-section (top and bottom) mizuya is the perfect pantry cabinet. The vertical slats were originally designed for the ventilation of food. The doors are sliding panels.

I am about to remodel a small kitchen and this would be great!
I really like the kitchen cabinets. What is the material?
Directly under the coffee center is a matching shallow cup warmer/accessory drawer and below that is cabinet with a custom stainless steel door.
They were from Hafele Hardware. This is a trade only hardware supplier. The kitchen was done a number of years ago and we no longer have access to the file for the exact model numbers.
Well said, XTC. I heartily agree with your sentiments. By the way, you've done a fabulous job on this kitchen.
