When used to describe interior design, zen refers to bringing peace, relaxation, and harmony.
A bathroom is a natural choice for zen style as it is a room in which it’s important to be comfortable and relaxed. That’s likely why many top destination spas use zen-inspired style to pamper their clients.

Luxurious Zen best decribes this Asian inspired master bath suite. Custom shoji screen panels line the hallway as you enter flanked by his and hers walkin closets. A foating vanity with lift up LED mirror sits center stage, with a generous free standing soking tub on the left, and an oversized custom shower on the right. Walnut wood floors and a cedar clad ceiling give warmth and ground the space.

This was a fun project, First the walls were glazed in a tea stain finish which is subtle color over color and gives the wall just enough depth with very little movement. The branch was painted to tie in the ceramic tile that currently exists in the bathroom. The Asain bird was painted in the skylight to bring your eye upwards in a subtle manner, by creating visual interest. Fallen petals drift up into the skylight and down towards the towel bar in a soft and subtle manner.

The homeowners' dreamed of an Ofuro style soaking tub. We worked together to make that a reality. Our employees custom milled a surround of Ofuro cedar for the soaking tub. A cedar shelf holds the mirrors. The vanity is floating with a toe kick light. The tiled shower is sloped towards a curtain drain. The shower boasts a tiled bench, niche and wand with a rain shower head. The toilet is separated from the main room by a custom obscure glass panel.
