What is the approximate cost for the mahogany surround bath tub? What woods wear best with the least maintenance in wet environments? Thank you!
I would like to know the exact model in this photo from Weathershield's line of wood windows.
Is the tub deck made of wood? If so is this made by a specific company?
The wood windows on this project are by Weathershield, and distributed in Austin by Exclusive
i am unable to comment on any costs. this bathroom was built in 2004, and involved a trim carpenter, a plumber and the painter to seal the wood. We chose mahogany because of its ability to stand up in a damp environment.

I am looking for a warm, light but rich paint color for my entry way and hallways of my 2 story home.
Some cities won't allow wood floors in bathrooms unless it's a powder room without a tub or shower. I would shy away from it even if it were allowed. Water and wood don't mix well and the wood will show wear over time. There is a product called Waterlox that's used on wood countertops - so that might
I also like the look of wood so I plan to investigate tile options that simulate wood. I've seen "bamboo" tile that looked especially nice and this photo reminded me of it though I haven't seen that in a while.
