What is the best wood flooring for a bathroom?

The tile on the floor and walls looks like a honed travertine, but the walls look like a travertine look porcelain tile.
Some cities won't allow wood floors in bathrooms unless it's a powder room without a tub or shower. I would shy away from it even if it were
It actually looks more like Time worn calacatta or light travertine 2x4. They are made in Italy. You can find them at Venetian Stone in Irvine.

I don't usually like modern designs, but I love this bathroom. It puts off a warm feeling unlike most modern designs which seem cold & sterile to me.

It looks like travertine. In saying that, the lighting is very warm and it could definitely be a number of different natural stones. In any case, travertine would look very similar to this. I hope this helps. Steve

What size is this bathroom? It is such a FANTASTIC use of space!!
Thank you. It was an odd basement space, so we had to be creative to make it all work. The bathroom is approximately 9' wide by 7' deep (only 5' where the vanity is because there were utilities directly behind).
