Beautiful courtyard fountain. What type of tile is it finished it?
This endless pool concept in a fountain is stunning. I was wondering what type of tile was used and if it requires swimming pool type filtration equipment or just a recirculating pump? How deep is the fountain and how high are the
tile, height and depth of pool. don't want fountains in middle. no seating.

surrounding materials and plants. Rosettes range in the gray to green spectrum; a powdery layer adds a chalky effect.Late winter and spring welcome towering, leafy inflorescences, but unlike Echeveria, the stalk emerges from the base of the rosette, not the center. Flowers come in a variety of colors
colors, including white, yellow and red. It’s a winter-growing plant, and when not in bloom it can appear inconspicuous, even dying. Liveforever looks its worst when many plants appear in their finest form, but it revives once the weather cools down and it rains a little — its leaves store water.Shown: Dudleya

bed with water feature surrounded by plants
beds accentuates the square and frames the formal, almost architectural, plantings within. The strength and simplicity of the square appears perfect when it is used as a planter or raised bed, where it balances the loose plantings beyond.More: Geometry Roots Great Garden Design
This landscape architect has gained inspiration from the surrounding marsh grasses and brought grasses into the his plant palette. They connect the built part of the landscape to its natural surroundings.

I like the potential to have different species mass planted broken up
Formal zones too blocky, too stuffy, to boring! Looks like a plant nursery.
try massing multiple species throughout your yard. The contrasts among them can reveal features in each that may have gone on unnoticed had only one plant type been used. The varieties play off each other's characteristics in unexpected ways.

Where is this fountain from? Thanks.
The fountain is from http://www.gardentemple.com/index.html. It's a limestone waterfall design.

ideas for back deck, don't like the fountain but like the idea of a focus area of the dark red
keep these barriers from feeling harsh or forbidding. Fences are simple in design and designed to blend with or set off the landscape they enclose. Plantings may conceal part of the fence to both soften it and hint at a world beyond, or the fence itself may be painted to blend into the rest of the yard

Love the plants in the planters. What kind of plant are the ones in the planters?
what is the trailing plant in the container
because I really can't see the plant close enough but my guess would be that it's Pilea depressa (Giant Baby's Tears). I usually see it sold as a houseplant (up here in Canada) but I have planted it in containers myself for a beautiful cascading green effect. I planted mine in shade. Have a look in the
vacant space in the front yard as garden with plants on the ground and in pots, it's nice and fresh to look at but I want to extend my receiving room because it's just small for us...what design should suits that will not affect my healthy growing plants and that the outcome of the extension will just
