Where can I find the art work behind the bed?
about 10 years ago in a Chinese Arts Shop. Then, they were not expensive but now they probably cost a lot more. Mine have inlaid mother of pearl birds and cherry blossoms. I would try an Asian Art store online. San Francisco has several places that sell this kind of art. They are gorgeous!
I went around our China Town and the answer was that China no longer exports this type of art. They put their money into computer and other technical supplies. Of course this may be Japanese.
Great use of gaudy wall art. Might not be hard to find these online.
