Madera Custom Kitchen- Berkeley Residence project. Cherry wood doors and Sliding Glass Shoji Screens for storage and laundry room. Photographer: Tiago Pinto
We could use this door /shoji combination
combination on the wall and door to the Laundry Room. Instead of having the awkward door that eats up so much space in the Laundry room, a sliding Shoji can be used to screen (heavier weight to mask any noise). The remainder of the wall would be fixed screens.
AsianShoji screens made by Berkeley Mills hide the cleaning pantry that flanks this kitchen's laundry facilities. The doors slide on aluminum hardware hidden behind a wood valance, for a clean look that resonates with the rest of the home.
