The large green leaf plant on the left is a 'alocasia macrorrhiza'.
The purple plants are elephant ears also, like the ones next to the porch, only the black variety.
I thinkk these are bulb plants they will die down and then come back.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The plants are a dwarf red leaved ornamental bananas. Ensete maurelii They are frost tender, but really very lovely.
