Dramatic, nice wall washing lighting
Design tip: Use recessed lighting to direct attention to special features in the room. Notice how lights accent the sculptures, artwork and figurines within the library shelving.

City Zen Space
What an interesting space. Love the lighting. Try Sherwin Williams' Jute Brown, SW6096, to match the color.
The colors, lighting and curtains behind the bed create an intimate, tranquil space

Best to choose your white with several paint samples on the wall in your own space. This room is drenched in light all morning and then with indirect light for the remainder of the day. Your own space could read the same color as too beige or too yellow or too grey. Cream Cheese Frosting KMW22
If you like polar bears in a snow storm. bleaching and leaving the stump in direct sun light can lighten it if your looking for a drift wood look or as the piece in the background you can use white semi transparent stain.
Nature inspired and good source of natural light from above that can shine throughout the space instead of using a great deal of space in the middle of the wall
celestory windows let nature and light in and still preserve wall space for display and usage.

may be a nice entry for BM... LOADS OF light through the panels and yet private
I think I prefer the light wood and white to the darker wood panels
The japanese architecture gives the room a very solid look, while allowing enough light into the room
love the quality of light through rice paper - blinds or shoji.

Noosa Little Cove Australia
7. Add magic to water elements…Submersible lighting is an absolute essential for any water feature at night, giving it a poetic dimension that is often missing in the clear light of day (it’s also a good safety feature). In this Noosa courtyard, plants and other architectural features are subtly reflected
