This living room I chose for the design element; space. This living room is very spacious and the light colored walls even makes it look bigger plus the small furniture makes
I love minimalism. The idea of a table that raises up, you sit on the ground and dangle your legs in the opening, is amazing. You would have to wipe down the table before using of course.
A more directly Asian-inspired precedent can be found in this dining table that lifts from the floor. People then sit on the floor and place their legs in the space below the table; sometimes this space is heated to warm the body in colder months.
