Good room with large window for sun light.
I like this style for our planned outdoor dining/hangout area, with sun shade. We also plan an outdoor kitchen (nothing but a sink and fridge inside)

on small side or enlarge the width of hall so it doesn't feel cramped. Lots of big windows...but heat-protected...either with the window type and/or overhang? Built in shelves for books is nice.

something very pleasing about this space, from the built-in furniture and open wood structure to the paint color and the soft light entering through the windows at left. They combine to create a cohesive environment that appears quite relaxing.
