We are about to pour a concrete patio and would like to use some bluestone as accent. What color is the concrete here? I'd like to make sure there is some contrast between the concrete and bluestone.
We have poured a pebble color coping. Looks nice, but we are thinking of pouring a slightly lighter patio colored patio and pacers. Pebble again but 25 to 50% lighter. Have you done it this way before?

The gray colored path is a concrete path with black stone imbedded into the top surface in a finish treatment known in the industry as "seeded exposed aggregate". A very popular surface in the 70's and 80's there are no longer as many concrete finishers who are skilled in this treatment.
