it's a standard drywall ceiling. I'm mid-project with a similar detail. The base and ceiling reveal are created by a trim piece installed prior to taping/finishing. Try Fryreglet or BrandX metals. They both have a variety of shapes.

They can.. If its a laminate top, I will thinset and screw a CBU (cement backer board) (usually a Hardibacker) to countertop surface and front edge. Tape, mud and seal all seams, Esp wall to counter top. Overcoat wall tile area and countertop with waterproofing membrane (HydroBan, Aqua Coat or Redguard)

Yes, the edges are finished with a fat grout line that covers the mesh and setting material. Blue tape and water are your friends for this project! I've also used a variety of fairly stiff artist brushes and foam brushes to get the smooth detailing I

anyone know how they are achieving the black lines where the baseboards and crown molding would typically be? I love the simplicity. Is it just black tape or possibly a painted black line?

primary colors. Also, depends on which direction the door is facing Clay Red color could look faded from the sun. Try to get some swatches of color and tape them on the gray siding. Don't put the sample colors too close to each other. You want to see each one only with the gray siding, not comparing with
