Bathroom backsplash!
yes it is really left over blinds, LOL. Seemed wasteful to just throw pretty bamboo out. I let the tile adhesive dry for 2 days, then I used dark walnut stain that already has polyurethane in it and darkened it a little. Then let that dry a couple of days and then went over with 2 coats lacquer. (lacquer
Attached old bamboo blinds to the wall with regular tile adhesive, let the tile adhesive dry for 2 days, then I used dark walnut stain that already has polyurethane in it and darkened it a little. Then let that dry a couple of days and then go over with 2 coats of polyurethane.

Is the tree on the glass, stained glass? Whwer can I have one made like that? It is beautiful. Is that a window to the outside?
origin of the stained glass window?
The stained glass was from Unique Art Glass by Mark Olson in Bellevue Washington.
Beautiful job. You can also look at StainedGlassInc.com
The window is stained and was done by Mark Olson of Unique Art Glass.

Move stained glass to interior wall
Create a focal point and theme with stained glass. The subject matter for a window is limited only by imagination. This bathroom window is the main attraction while at the same time creating a Zen-like experience.

Japanese Garden Deck
Which deck stain did you use here?
Hi Susan and Aburpee, From the look of the deck it seems if they used a UV inhibitor Oil. Usually Ipe doesn't take staining well because of its density. We usually recommend Ipe Oil or Messmer's UV Plus. These two oils have worked wonderfully for all Ipe, Tigerwood, Cumaru
