My basement with a carpet right now is measuring 6"7 removing carpet would give us some extra height but as we live in Toronto i am guessing we would have to install heated flooring or concrete would be to cold? is there another solution
located in Bellevue, Washington. They did all of the concrete refinishing and should be able to tell you the exact steps in their process. I don't believe they did any smoothing or grinding...but they did extensive work filling in cracks in the concrete prior to staining. Their website is www.semcof
room slab in place. Install insulation, and in-floor heating in the new slab pour. The new slab will be level, warm, and can be finished beautifully with a good concrete contractor. I don't know your overall budget but this may be worth investigating with a reputable contractor. The 6'-7 floor to ceiling
