like this for our bathroom basement
the bathroom door/wall is unique modern and interesting. I like it!
the bathroom is in a circle and there is a pool table rite out
Be bold. The typical strategy for a bathroom in a basement is to hide it, but sometimes there's just no way to pull that design move off that isn't boring. The reason: Basement bathrooms need to compete for space with the furnace, water softener, hot-water heater
Beautiful stained concrete floor gives the illusion of water in this lake house home. Enhanced by rough laid brick which backs to the crawl space. Custom bookshelf door leads into the crawl space of the home. Who ever said a basement has to be ugly?
How did you get the floor like that?
Took me about 2mins before realizing the floor is a FLOOR and not a pool.. amazing flooring..

Please let us know the material used in the wall that contains the fire place. Is it wood? Thanks a lot!
Hello. Question about the floor. Looks like a Michalangelo marble I carry. Could it be? Or maybe St Laurent? Nice job!
What type of floors are these? Thanks
This is actually a stained concrete. The floor is not perfect becuase the house was remodeled, but it is cool looking!
The material surrounding the fireplace is a concrete tile with a rough texture.
want to consider concrete (with some interest - color or imprinted maybe!) for some of our exterior passage materials. Darn! Thanks
Can you please advise the type of floor used?
what did you use to stain the floors and what was the process?
The floor was an older concrete slab with some patina already, so we applied a few coats of tinted sealer then 2 coats of polyurethane.

Our clients wanted to finish the walkout basement in their 10-year old home. They were looking for a family room, craft area, bathroom and a space to transform into a “guest room” for the occasional visitor. They wanted a space that could handle a crowd of young children, provide lots of storage and

type of material is the wall and where do you get the material?
What material is used for the flooring?
How would you clean a painted concrete floor? Would the paint rub off? I'm just curious as I like the idea of this, or stained concrete, but it sounds like stained concrete
drywall screws... deck-screws...? And what length? Did you also use liquid nails to reinforce? What type of drill-bit did you use? How do I cut the material? Tin-snips? A circular saw fitted with a metal blade? And the trim... what exactly did you use and how did you install it? I wonder if you can use
The paint will not rub off if you get the correct paint. Make sure you speak to a local paint store for recommendation and discuss how to prep your floor/ slab. You want to make sure the paint/ stain penetrates and grabs into concrete pours. If there is any concern with moisture i would not recommend
