Be bold. The typical strategy for a bathroom in a basement is to hide it, but sometimes there's just no way to pull that design move off that isn't boring. The reason: Basement bathrooms need to compete for space with the furnace, water softener, hot-water heater
bedroom and whatever else makes the space awesome, there's no place awesome left for the bathroom. In that case it's often best to run hard in the other design direction and celebrate it in plain sight, make the bathroom part of the plan and a piece of the experience. Celebrating "unwanted" things is one

Are those tiles still available? I love the color blend!
Where did u get the tiles from?
You will have to see if any local tile showrooms there carry Lunada Bay. You can also go to their website or call them directly. Good Luck!
Are the Ahou Silk tiles available in San Antonio, TX?
Yes they are. I got them from United Tile here in Portland, OR. They are a mesh mounted glass moisac tile from Lunada Bay--To-Zen 1"x4" in "Ahou SIlk".
I love the subway tile backsplash
This is the look I'm going for....Industrial Chic! Love the colorful tile backsplash. Can also be used in bathroom. Color of cabinets can be painted over off-the-floor cabinetry! This is a must

ceilings were only around 8 feet high. Biondi scaled everything to pleasing proportions — including the new fireplace, which is sheathed in 12- by 32-inch tiles. love the tile Backsplash! Please tell me where it's from? thanks
What is the wall treatment on the rear wall in the photo please?
It is a ceramic tile that has a "wood grain" look to it. The tile are pretty large.....18" x 24" if I recall correctly. It came from Renaissance Tile in Atlanta. They could provide you with more of the details. Gary Dresser Dresser Homes
Yes, this glass tile is absolutely georgeous. We got it through Renaissance Tile here in Atlanta (404) 231-9203. If you talk to Alan over there, he can tell you the specifics. I know
that it came from New York and was very expensive (like, $140/sf). Also, if you do end up using any glass tile as your backsplash, make sure you have an installer who is familiar with glass tile installations. It is much more difficult than stone or ceramics. Gary Dresser Dresser Homes
