What is the color of stain on this floor and how if I am DIY do I polish and with what? Thanks
These floors were stained and polished by a professional company so the exact colors and methods are not known to me. The owner picked the color from the company samples. Sorry I am not any more help to you. You could probably do the polishing yourself by renting a floor polisher. I think

I loved the stained concrete floors. What kind/color of stain is this? Also, all of the ones I've seen are super shiny but I like this more matte look way better...
The floor color is Marble Gray. The floor refinishing and stain was done by Semco, located in Bellevue, WA. Their website is .... I believe they have locations nationwide.

It looks like designer concrete at first, but I think I see tile. What type of flooring is that?
This is a stained concrete floor.
This was a Taupe colored reactive concrete stain. This is no longer available but we can achieve similar results with a toned down black stain.

How do you keep the floor from being too cold for bare feet?

Hi Cherae, I believe this is a medium brown stain. The best thing to do is find a concrete floor company in your area and talk to him about the color and brand he uses. You could show him this picture if you want. He should have some pictures to show you as well. This is not something you should try

Beautiful stained concrete floor gives the illusion of water in this lake house home. Enhanced by rough laid brick which backs to the crawl space. Custom bookshelf door leads into the crawl space of the home. Who ever said a basement has to be ugly?

Floor joists what color was used.
The floor joists were painted with a Porter Paint White.
John Stroud of Uniq-Crete did the floor. He is out of Nashville, TN. He is fabulous to work with.
