The dark siding wall treatment is very cool
A dark pub is appropriate for a dark basement, and Bittersweet Chocolate paint on the cabinets as well as chocolate Naugahyde on the custom built-in bench just go with it. Pendant lights and sconces set the right ambience. The floors are painted pine; the beams are boxed in
Ultimate Irish pub look! Love the dark cabinet color, stained glass, bar counter and lights

dried wood and its not the true 2x2 wood. The molding along the ceiling in your pictures looks larger than what i've seen at home depot. Is your molding in this photo along the ceiling true 2x2 or 1.5x1.5???
bar and bathroom areas. Be careful using epoxy paint finish for floor. Get advice from your local paint supplier to make sure you use the right product based on your conditions. A concrete opaque stain/paint is another option you may want to look into.
counteract the dark ceiling and lack of natural light. The floor throughout was painted grey. Lighting is always critical in basements especially this one.

love the dark ceiling and corrugated steel on the wall!
has a bathroom on the other side so there is existing plumbing in the wall. Any idea of how much it would cost to install a wet bar like this including tying into the existing plumbing?
of the bathroom on this floor plan and I'm going to find out if the plumbing allows for that additions to take place. I figure even if its not 2" as you stated it has to be cheaper than running all new plumbing to the basement (as you can tell I know NOTHING about remodeling) :-)

I like the design of the wall for the basement bathroom.
for a bathroom in a basement is to hide it, but sometimes there's just no way to pull that design move off that isn't boring. The reason: Basement bathrooms need to compete for space with the furnace, water softener, hot-water heater, stairs etc. And sometimes after I lay out the bar, bedroom and whatever
for the bathroom. In that case it's often best to run hard in the other design direction and celebrate it in plain sight, make the bathroom part of the plan and a piece of the experience. Celebrating "unwanted" things is one of my favorite design tricks.
Specie of wood and stain color?
has a "wood grain" look to it. The tile are pretty large.....18" x 24" if I recall correctly. It came from Renaissance Tile in Atlanta. They could provide you with more of the details. Gary Dresser Dresser Homes
