I really like this basement. We are building a new home with an open basement which will be approximately the same sq footage. I would love to see what you've done with the remainder of the basement if possible

Duncan Avenue Basement Renovation
This is one of the more practical renovations of a typical midwest-older-home basement I've seen. Nice!!
This is so much like our basement. Our home was built in 1923 and we also have a stone foundation. My husband has sealed the walls with Drylock and after a few years we have noticed a discoloration
I can't evaluate your home without more information. Insulation is required in certain instances but not in others. I would contact a local architect to help you.

room that sits empty. Why not make it into something else? You are avid wine collectors; make it a tasting room. You run a home business; make it an office. Make your home what you want. Space is space; it’s how you define it for yourself that will set the tone for its use.

Wooden doors like this one were common in old Indian homes. There carve intricate designs on the wood, and even use brass studs and ornamentation. The antique doors are difficult to find and expensive, but some indian furniture websites may have pieces that that may deliver. If you have someone visiting
