existing concrete floors is to cover them with ceramic tile over an electric heat mat. You will probably want to level the floor anyhow since most garage floors slope. Hope that helps.
The ceiling is 7'-8" to the underside of the subfloor above and just over 7'-0 to the underside of the joists. By keeping the joists open you can achieve a more airy feel to the space even when you are limited by the existing conditions. Thanks for your inquiry.

Are the cabinet doors for the washer/dryer custom made? Where can i find these?
did this customer move the utility sink elsewhere or chose not to have one? I'm thinking of moving my utility sink to the garage, what do you think of this? Does it need to be close to the laundry machines?
