The door was custom made by the builder. It has a wood substrate w/hammered tin overlay and barn door hardware.
hardware for the door is a box rail traditionally used for barn doors. If you search sliding barn doors online you'll get lots of options. Also, you can check your local farm supply store and find hardware that is often less expensive.
If anyone is looking for sliding barn door hardware, we would
purchased by the homeowner so I am not sure where they found it. If I can find out I'll tag it.

Doors in basement to block noise
possible closure for stairs into basement idea yet do industrial? need wide opening to allow for furniture in/out ease
the french doors closing off an area.
Door into lower area, not wide open
I like how the basement can be closed off by doors for noise
Like the idea of adding glass rather than a solid door.
changes to the basement had to fit within the 13- by 13-foot steel and concrete structural grid of the International-style house. Crittenden carved out comfortable spaces accordingly. In the media room, a custom curved leather sofa faces the television."It's a great hangout for the girls and their friends;

stone wall, arched door, iron accents
stone veneer on the walls and the speak-easy door.
Would love the door for our updated entryway remodel
A stone wall, an arched wood door and iron detailing mark the wine cellar. The stone veneer is 4 to 6 inches thick, giving it an authentic look. Much of the cozy seating area is composed of reproduction antiques, like pub tables and Windsor chairs.Door: ETO Doors
What is that big wooden door? Where does it lead?
Large wooden door on the left side of the shot.
How do I get a big wooden door like that one?
I freaking love that wooden door!
Where did you find that door?
wooden door too. Any info on how to find one or how to build it myself?
These doors are very popular in the Middle East. Many people use the doors and even have tables made from them.
Thank you for the prompt response. It is a beautiful door. Looks
Wooden doors like this one were common in old Indian homes. There carve intricate designs on the wood, and even use brass studs and ornamentation. The antique doors are difficult to find and expensive, but some indian furniture websites may have pieces that that may deliver. If you have someone visiting

Hi. The iron on the door is stunning and I am looking for something just like this (the shape) for my front entry door. Can you tell me where I can buy something similar? Thanks.
What is the source for the door?
Can you tell me what wood that is? Please also tell me that's an exterior door.
Can you please advise me where you purchased that beautiful door with the antique hardware?
This is a piece from Quoizel Lighting's Inglenook collection. You can check it out here: http://www.creative-lighting.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductName=TFIK348VA

How is the door suported? Do you have it on rollers or just hinged?
This specific door was hung with (4) industrially size gate like "T" hinges and we incorporated a diagonal turn buckle system in case the door was to ever come out of alignment. We hard thought about doing a roller, but the floor had some
Another great detail: The bar and kitchen area conceals a 48-inch-wide secret door that can be pushed open with the touch of one finger. "This door leads down a long and dark cave-like hallway, taking you down 100 feet below the ground surface, where the owners enjoy wine and cheese as they watch leprechauns
gold," Lindgren jokes. Actually, it leads to the mechanical room, bulk bar storage and a large refrigerator and freezer. The cabinet doors and drawers on the hidden door are fully functional. The backsplash is composed of 8- by 8-inch colored glass tiles.

Monica: I was the designer on this job. We did recessed lighting though out. I can't remember the exact specs but I'd recommend an qualified electrician anyway. These ceilings in this basement ranged from 6'8" to about 7-1/2'

Where did you purchase the barn door from?
The door and all other wood work (including the similar bar front and fireplace surround) were custom built by a local fine woodworker. None of it was purchased retail. For complete details including close ups of the design, see: http://www.theelectricbrewery
Love the wall piece, it really stands out.
Barn door "secret door" on left of bar?
artwork as door (to cover TV or just as door to another room)
cabinet configuration choices are: 1. 3 doors x 16" (side) 4 doors x 14" (middle) , 3 doors x 16" (side) 2. 3 x 16", 3 x 18", 3x 16" 3. Your suggestion or thought :) We are going with the purple "pop" colour too.
Another question, glass doors or solid doors?
and I would love your advice on the door configuration if that is ok? On my unit there will be no fireplace and it is about 13ft long. On each side there would be 2 20" doors and in the middle where the fire place is I have the option of 3 20" doors or 4 15" doors. What do you think would look best?
I am using this concept because it is magnificent. I am installing a flat screen tv and an electric fireplace below just as the photo shown. How far out from the wall did you build to accommodate these features?
