Does this ceiling treatment (no insulation) cause heating problems on the main level? Does sound travel up?

Does this house have radiant heat instead of forced air? And, if radiant, are the basement floors heated?
This house has forced air heating and cooling. Radiant heat is a great upgrade if your budget allows it. Thanks.

Have you had any heat issues with the tv this close to the fireplace?
our tv over the Montigo fireplace and I'm a bit worried about how much heat it puts out. I may have my metal fabricator add a few inches to the mantel.

Ashburn Contemporary Basement - Pool Area & Bar
Our basement is very dry, just a one time issue. Did you put down radiant heat? And, what type of pad did you use?
The floors in this basement do not have radiant heat. Basement floors do not necessitate radiant heat; it's just an "upgrade" that homeowners may consider
damage if there's a flood? Also, the other question was regarding radiant heating, but was not addressed. Will the vapor barrier protect a newly installed
carpeting should there be a flood and since the remodel is a basement, is radiant heat necessary? Thanks.
