there's no place awesome left for the bathroom. In that case it's often best to run hard in the other design direction and celebrate it in plain sight, make the bathroom part of the plan and a piece of the experience. Celebrating "unwanted" things is one of my favorite design tricks.

I spoke with Mike O'Hearn, the senior project designer on this project, and he assured me that the dryer and the bathroom fan both vent outside
utility sink in the opposite corner from this laundry area. We remodeled that in to a full bathroom and eliminated the laundry sink. You can see that in the other photos for this project.

That rug just looks like a shag or flokati rug, easily found on various rug sites or in rug stores. Adds some really soft texture to the space.

This bathroom is about 66" x 106". There is a shower located to the left of the toilet that you see in this photo.

Where can i find a large alpaca rug
The space is a modern open kitchen/family room with high ceilings and a fire place at the far wall in the family room. Walls are cream color and I would like a warm feeling
adding some kind of textile to the space, like a wall hanging, or even something hung across the ceiling? Something bright and vibrant, maybe something modern or "tribal"? I like the recliner above, since it adds wood, which is warm and adds texture.
