this legal living space according to local code?
In my region (the Pacific Northwest) in order for basements to be considered legal living space the walls must be insulated. Was that the case with this remodel? Or did the clients simply not care about this being legal living space? Thanks. This project
it provided warmth to a cool wall/area by use of stained wood. Lastly, it created an interesting element to tie together the material pallet of the space. The proportion and size of apron was based on room and wall dimensions.

this is very cool and has plenty of space for my wines... set in stone but dont love this types
I like the idea of the wine storage. Maybe not as big because of the spacing in the house, but could do maybe one of the door sizes with two wine racks alined down the wall.
