have a stone foundation. My husband has sealed the walls with Drylock and after a few years we have noticed a discoloration and some moisture coming through. We want to redo our basement and this gives me and idea that maybe we won't have to make it into something that we can't do. Our ceiling height
walls, but stone with parging (similar). I have heard to use milk paint to allow the walls to "breathe", but see that you used a waterproofing sealer (white?). Also, we have a coat of old pealing latex paint. Do you think we should remove all of that or can we just work overtop?
