Hi there! What colour is the grout on the floor tiles? It's lovely! I have purchased 1" glossy hex tiles for my bathroom reno, but I am not sure which grey colour to go with...I was thinking Warm Gray by Mapei but not sure how light it actually
It's original 2" ceramic hex tile probably English like the wall tile. Early 20th century.
Thanks to Benjamin Moore, original wall and floor tile and our great photographer Bradley M Jones! The original ceramic wall and floor tiles (1908) had a beautiful soft off
This is the original (1908) 2" x 2" ceramic hexagon. To simulate this grout color, use a soft,warm gray.
I like the clean simple feel. and the hex tile of course

What is the size of the hex tile?
Hi there! I am wondering what the grout colour is on the floor tiles? It's lovely! I purchased 1" hex tiles glossy for our bathroom reno but was unsure what colour to choose for the grout. I was thinking about warm grey

Did you use the same grout color for the wall tile that you used for the floor? And is the hex tile a matte finish? (I've been curious if matte hex tile will look good with glossy subway tile)
all of the answers to the other flooring questions within this thread, but I just wanted to confirm that it is matte 1" hexagonal tiling with medium-gray grout? You mentioned that the 1st round was not flat and needed to be ripped out - how do you avoid that from happening? Thank you so much! Rhea
the floor (not in the shower, just the bathroom floor) we were going to use a sanded grout - does this need to be sealed? Because we have 50 sq ft of hex tiles, we are very hesitant to seal THAT many grout lines!! Thanks!!! Rhea
