head. If you stand for shower there should be a shower head and niche at standing height on the opposite end. A grab bar in the middle. Too many universal designs have the person walking across the shower to get to the bench with no grab bars, well that is an accident waiting to happen. The bathroom
a space to care for...there are stairs and up keep that is very difficult to maintain and costly. Moving to a smaller, more manageable home, with universal design is so much better.

a necessity, is the last thing considered. They really shouldn’t be an afterthought, especially when they can be such fun design elements. So when planning your project, think about where the hooks, towel bars, toilet paper holders and the like will go so that you can get that all-too-often-overlooked
